I had a rhinoplasty in 2015. I had concerns about the scar at the time but was told it wasn’t an issue. 8years later I still have a lump at the bottom of my columella. The tip is also rock solid. It means I have a crease u my nose when I talk and smile and one of my nostrils pulls up. Can I have the scar revised on its own?

By the photos provided and the history, the lumps at the base of the nose are likely to be hypertrophic scars. If so, these can be flattened via the use of intralsional injections of an anti-inflammatory agent. A scar revision surgery in an area subject to static tension or muscular movement carries a significant risk for the subsequent development of stretch scars and tram track stitch marks. A microdroplet or two of Botox placed at the base of the nostril that flares with smiling will likely help to diminish this issue. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best of luck.
