I have a crown that is almost 2 years old (Tooth 14 Upper left side), recently I feel sensitivity to that tooth and I had a root canal done around 4 years ago. I do not feel sensitivity to hot or cold or even when I tap or put a lot of pressure on the tooth. However, I feel sensitivity sometimes when I glide or bite down certain ways, did my tooth get a cavity under a crown? I have seen few dentists and they could not give me an explanation any ideas what’s wrong with me?

Hi:If there is a food trap around the crown, then this causes bacterial growth that can cause bad breath. Flossing and rinsing with Oral Essentials Original Mouthwash can help with strong odor.Best,Dr. Maddahi
If you are having problems with your speech because of the caps, then you should have the dentist check them. Perhaps they can be reshaped in the mouth to correct the problem or at least, make it better. If it turns out the caps do need to be removed, then new caps must be put on. the removal...
Return to your Dr for an adjustment of the crown and further evaluation. A high spot on the crown or an opening at the margin of the crown or other can create much trauma to your tooth
