Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, your question doesn't have a blanket answer. Every practice will have a reason why the chose a specific laser or manufacturer. Your most important decision criteria should be who has the most experience. Besides having good equipment, it is VERY important to use the correct technique and settings. You shouldn't choose where you do your treatments just based on equipment alone. Research the reputation of the business and find out if there is a doctor you can speak with before after your treatments. Best of luck.
Hello, thank you for your question. I am not that familiar with the LightSheer technology because we have the Candela technology. Candela/Syneron manufactures a device called the Gentle Max Pro that is equipped with both 755nm and 1064nm wavelength to safely treat all skin types. The technology has an 18mm spot size and cryogen cooling spray that is dispensed with each pulse to cool the surface of the skin and make it more comfortable. Device choice is important, but more importantly is that you find a board certified dermatologist to assure safe/effective treatments.Good Luck!

Hello, thank you for your question and for including photos. It is hard to tell exactly what is going on in the photo, but it is possible that your hair follicles are being irritated by your clothing and actually hyperpigmenting in a response. If you do the process of laser hair reduction, t...
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, a side effect of laser hair removal is burns and can happen for various reasons. I would treat this with Bacitracin ointment and apply a clean dressing daily. It may take 1 to 2 weeks for a burn to heal. It is always important to see an expert who can...
Thank you for your question. Even though there is no research to show whether lasers used for laser hair removal are safe or harmful, we do know that the lasers do not cause cancer. Therefore, there should be no risk of working while performing treatments. I hope this helps!
Different body parts have different anagen( active) phases. During the initial few Tx's, it is important to catch them in their growth cycle-every 4 wks for face, 6 weeks for body. After a few sessions. its ok to extend the time between treatments by a couple of weeks
