Other procedures similar to Morpheus 8?

Morpheus 8 caused my skin to blister post treatment. Are there any other similar treatments that will do similar things but have less of a heat factor to them. My skin doesn’t like heat…I burn and blister very easily.

Hi Marthajean! Thank you for your question about alternatives to Morpheus8 that don't have a heat component. I would suggest traditional microneedling, with or without PRP, as an alternative to Morpheus8. Microneedling does not have a heat factor and therefore will not cause you to burn or blister easily. However, microneedling will not give as drastic of a lifting/firming result as Morpheus does. Microneedling does yield incredible results, though! Microneedling helps to promote collagen growth, helps with scarring, overall texture, and does plump the skin a little bit! I would suggest 3 sessions, 4-6 weeks apart. There is minimal pain, however, I still apply numbing cream for my patients. Downtime consists of a few days of mild redness.

Morpheus8 is a micro needling treatment that uses radio frequency to produce heat.  This heat is delivered through the micro needles into the skin and this process causes rejuvenation of the skin.  When using Morpheus8, settings can be adjusted to determine the amount of heat used.  You should be able to be treated with Morpheus8 and not develop blistering after treatment.  The energy that was used on you just needs to be adjusted.
