Why are my brackets on my braces not centered? Is it possible for them to realign them?

The brackets are placed so high near my gums! I'm so upset because I find it SO unattractive! Is it possible for them to realign it after one day or is it too late?

I would NOT recommend removing any adhesive (glue) from your old retainer at home as this could damage your teeth. I think your best option is to find an orthodontist who can remove the glue for you and discuss options for a new retainer (there are many different kinds of retainers).  Long...
