My hips, sides of my legs and butt are severely bruised and swollen from my TT surgery. I did not have lipo below my hip area however the swelling to the outside of my legs is getting worse and is very painful. What can I do to reduce the swelling? Can compression shorts help? I was told not to use ice as it constricts the blood vessels. Please advise. Thank you!

I see a mismatch, in that the tissue above is thicker than that below. This is not that unusual as there is more fat in the upper flap than the lower one. This could be the problem. It could also be swelling or a combination of the two. Give it at least 3 months to settle. If not better dicuss...

At 2 years a tummy tuck cannot come undone period. However an aggressive massage in a previously operated area may have resulted in some swelling. I would return to your surgeon whom operated on you for an evaluation and advice.
