Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. I'm so sorry you have wasted your time and money with expensive "bells and whistles" gizmos, but I am not at all surprised. I have been cautioning my regular followers for years already that so many of the expensive, so-called light and energy-based devices are far more backed up by marketing, advertising and social media hype than by any hard science. Sorry.
For elevated scars, such as hypertrophic and keloid scars, the first and treatment of choice to flatten and shrink them is the use of intralesional injections of anti-inflammatory agents--of which there are several that may be used either alone or in various combinations, depending upon the specific needs. Treatment is relatively inexpensive, takes only a couple of minutes to perform, and the results typically can be seen in just a few days following the treatment.
