Without knowing exactly what was done it is hard to answer that question. However it looks like they treated very close to the eye, so a blood vessel probably got hit and that is what caused the bruising and swelling. I have seen bruising in patients who are very vascular, which goes away in just a few days. Make sure and sleep upright and take some Arnica Montana to help with swelling and bruising. This will resolve!
Can not comment as we do not know what was used to cause the swelling and bruising. Was a block used? If so, then local anaethic needles may cause rupture of vessels, so this is a side effect. Additionally depth of needles, passes, location of microneedling all play a role. It is standard protocol that if patients are concerned regarding a procedure, one should return back to their Specialist as he or she is in the best position to deal with the situation as their op notes are written. Hello - If you are doing IPL and laser genesis the same day, my best advice is to please make sure you are doing with the same treating physician so that settings can be adjusted appropriately and treatment endpoints monitored. Congratulations for taking care of your skin.
