Small amount of submental fat. Is CoolSculpting, Kybella or something else best to treat this?

Kybella definitely is effective at reducing small collections of excess fat in the submentum. Like Coolsculpting, if you have good skin tone, the decompression by dissolving fat allows the skin to contour. Kybella may require multiple sessions depending upon the thickness. The "double chin" may persist however when you change neck positions-the surgical options (liposuction w/tightening, necklift) would address this. Also consider using MINT barbed threads to reposition lax skin & soft tissue. There are many options-having an in person examination is central to knowing which one(s) would be effective. Good luck!

With significant neck sagging you would need a facelift / neck lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). There are several treatment options for reducing a small amount of submental fat. Liposuction can be used, but if there is only a very small amount of fat, sometimes other treatments can work well. Kybella is very effective in reducing fat under the chin, but usually, more than one treatment session is needed. CoolSculpting could also be used, but for most people, at least 2 treatment sessions are needed. In my opinion, I think the Kybella would work better than the CoolSculpting in that area.
