I have another post up detailing my experience for the last year about some hair loss and multiple triggers. I believe my triggers were stress and hair products I was using (Mielle shampoo and dry shampoo) In late August of 2025 I boticed my hair was thinner and super greasy and worked on bettering it by exfoliating, clarifying, and oiling and trying new shampoos. I now use Paul Mitchel shampoo 3 and Shea Moisture anti dandruff shampoo. Despite working on my hair and taking vitamins and everything, when I look at my shed hairs I can see for almost all of them that they get progressively thinner going towards the root. The root also has very tiny bulbs, sometimes almsot invisible unless I check it very closely. If I have been doing things to help my hair why would all my new growth in the last half year/year be thinner? And I mentioned before that I’ve been taking vitamins byt I don’t know if I have a deficiency currently. I also have been exercising more for the past 3 months.
