Tooth bonding performed only yesterday. Can it be removed? Please help!

Yes, bonding can be removed in a conservative manner. Without pictures it is difficult to provide specific comments about your situation. However, cosmetic bonding should replicate ideal tooth contour and function like natural teeth. Bonding should feel smooth. It is common for patients to mention that the additional composite material feels "thick or thicker" for a few days but after that it becomes normal. It's similar to braces or Invisalign. The first 1-3 days it's weird but after a few days you accommodate and speak normally. Give the dentist that placed the bonding a call and go back in and discuss your concerns with them. They may be able to re-contour, or polish it so everything feels better.

If your teeth have been chipped for a while the new bonding may feel strange to your lips, tongue, and cheeks.  I would give your nueromuscular system time to adjust. After that go back to the dentist and have him reduce the thickness without anesthesia.  That way you can assess if the bonding is too thick or too long

Yes, your bonding can be removed. Bonding should not feel like you described. There are excellent cosmetic dentists that will be able to take care of you. I am sorry you have had such a bad experience but please don't give up. Find a better dentist and you will be happy and look good.
