Had cool sculpting on a very tiny banana roll which caused my butt to drop lost volume had to have skin surgically removed Was told not enough fat for fat grafting

First, I think you have two options.  The first being buttock implants.  These are less popular than fat injections because you can't customize the shape and make adjustments for asymmetry.  They are not always natural feeling and can get infected.  This is why Sculptra is beginning to become a popular alternative non surgical option.  Kim Kardashian's full and lifted buttock was accomplished via Sculptra and not fat injections.  See link below to watch the video of Kim Kardashian's plastic surgeon tell all on the Doctors. You would probably need 5 vials per side and 2 treatments spaced 3 to 5 weeks apart.  I prefer to wait 2 ot 3 months after the 2nd treatment to evaluate the need for a 3rd so as to avoid over correction.

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding Sculptra butt lift or augmentation.  I perform a lot of Sculptra butt injection in my Beverly Hills and Las Vegas plastic surgery practice.  Considering your history, I would suggest either buttock implants or Sculptra.  If you cannot do butt implants and have no fat, consider Sculptra.  In your case, I would inject 15 vials of Sculptra into each buttock.  About 4 to 6 weeks later, I would inject another 10-15 vials if Sculptra into each buttock.  If you want more volume, more Sculptra can be injected.  I hope I have answered your question regarding Sculptra injection into the buttocks.  If you have any more questions regarding Sculptra, please call my office.  Sincerely, Dr.Katzen

Sculptra is a great volumizing filler for the face because it creates long lasting collagen stimulation.  Sculptra has been used in buttocks with moderate results.  The amount of volume created is usually not significant enough to provide volume; however, it has been shown to improve contour and texture in targeted areas leading to a better looking butt out of clothes.  As far as lifting goes, it is not significant and would require a large number of vials / sessions to see any impact.  Be careful to not get oversold on this one.

Thank you for your question. There are two common ways to enhance a buttock, but each requires surgery. The most common method is through the use of fat-grafting, popularized as the "Brazilian Butt Lift", or BBL. This procedure involves performing liposuction of diet and exercise resistant areas of the body (typically the abdomen, waist, hips, and back), followed by processing and purifying the fat before injecting the fat back into the glutes. This fat can be used to recontour the buttock region, while adding volume and firmness. The second method of butt augmentation is through the use of buttock implants, a better option for those with otherwise little body fat, that are directly placed into the tissues similar to a breast implant placed into the chest.  Sculpture has recently been used to naturally enhance the buttock in a semi-permanent method by using its property of increasing collagen formation to add volume to the tissues.  As with all fillers the amount of sculpture needed would depend on your desired size but you can anticipate 20-30 vials to be a starting point.  Best wishes.

Thank you for your question and submitting your pictures. We have seen excellent results with as little as 10 vials of Sculptra. Most patients are going to typically require 20-40 vials injected. We generally inject 10-15 vials during the first visit and schedule for a second procedure 4-6 weeks later.I would anticipate you would need approximately 20 vials but this would depend on your goals and response to the Sculptra. Most of our clients have been very athletic without sufficient fat available for a fat transfer procedure. Optimal results are seen 6+ months following the completion of the Sculptra injections. It is anticipated the results will last 2 or more years. Additional Sculptra can be injected at any time you want to further enhance the results. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

I typical do session of Sculptra in the buttocks of 4 vials. I retreat at 8 weeks. Most people need a total of 16-20 vials. If you don't have enough fat, this and implants are your only 2 options for butt enhancement.

To best answer your question, I'd have to say that Sculptra would be a poor choice for buttock enhancement. Quite simply, you'd need a tremendous amount of Sculptra to yield any appreciable improvement in buttock projection or contour. Given that I use an average of 8-10 vials of Sculptra in a typical facial rejuvenation case, you'd likely need upwards of 30-40 vials to yield any appreciable change to your buttocks. It can be done, but would be extremely expensive and likely leave you disappointed overall.That said, it can be used very effectively for correcting minor contour irregularities, but not the choice for true buttock enhancement.

I would recommend 20 vials total over two sessions. Each session would involve a total of ten with 5 in each buttock.

From the photos, you seem to be quite lean, with not enough fat to transfer to the buttocks.
