What does swelling after Liposuction feel like?

Hi! I was hoping someone could tell me what the swelling after specifically Vaser Liposuction actually feels like to touch. Does it feel like actual liquid gathered under your skin? Help much appreciated

VASER Hi Definition Liposuction / Body Contouring

It takes weeks to see the results of liposuction and swelling can last for months. Massage, RF treatments, Venus Legacy and hyperbaric oxygen will drastically reduce swelling. The type of swelling each patient will experience will be different, but commonly it is described as a firm tightness or heaviness. Please seek an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Swelling after Liposuction

Any kind of liposuction (Vaser, Power-assisted, laser, SmartLipo, CoolLipo, etc.) results in swelling, which usually peaks around 10 days later.  It can often feel firm or hard, not like sloshy water, but more the consistency of a foam water-ski life vest (? - that's the best analogy I could come up with).  It slowly goes down over time, but does take several months to resolve completely.  Usually by 1 month after, it is about 50% gone, but everyone heals at his or her own pace.
