I had an FUE two week ago (1600 grafts). 48 hrs afterwards, I started using pure Vitamin E oil on the Donor area as a moisturizer and to help loosen scabs and used it up till post op Day 9. However, after considering Vit E can easily be absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream (especially broken skin), I have become concerned. Vitamin E oil is a known inhibitor of Veg-F, which is responsible for angiogenesis after transplant. Is it possible that I stunted vascularization of my grafts?

Answer: It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.
4000 FUE harvesting may well cause donor area depletion unless you have an above average donor density. You wont be able to tell until your scalp heals over the next several months.
It is normal to lose transplanted hairs days to weeks after surgery. It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out. It's impossible to tell how your results will be at this point.
