Compression socks? Ask your surgeon how long their protocol is to wearing compression socks. Compression garments are usually worn for 4-6 weeks, however check with your surgeon. Sitting? What doctors suggest is being cautious about physical activity and avoiding working out the affected regions for at least two week period of time. Furthermore, extended periods of sitting on the buttock should be avoided. Many patients place a pillow or a boppy pillow underneath their buttocks to alleviate pressure. THe duration of a BBL procedure depends greatly on the amount of fat that needs to be suctioned for transfer. Small cases take about 2.5-3 hours, larger cases 3.5-4 hours. Hope that helps.
