the first two photos is my chin currently and the last two is a look i desire to have. i have a weak chin and my jawline doesn't show much even tho i am 90 lbs. what can i do?
Answer: Chin augmentation Thank you for your question. Both fillers and implants are options for augmentation. Fillers carry the advantage of avoiding incisions and surgical recovery, but nearly all are not permanent. Most last about a year. Implants on the other hand are permanent but require a small surgery and a few days of recovery. Given your photos, I would recommend an implant over fillers, as it will give a result more similar to your goals than fillers would be able to achieve. I hope this helps, and all the best. -Dr. P

Answer: Non-Surgical Chin Augmentation with Injectable Fillers -- Radiesse, Sculptra, Surgical Implants, See an Expert "A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease. Implants are still a great option once you are 100% positive that you are ready for a permanent enhancement. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Chin implant You would be a great candidate for a chin implant. Fillers would also work but are temporary and only last approximately 1 year. The chin implant utilizes a small incision hidden in your natural chin crease and will give you a permanent result.

Answer: Weak Chin Hello! Great questions and photos. For a weak chin, fillers may be quite limited and expensive to obtain the result you desire. A chin implant can work very well. There are different materials such as silicone and MedPor. Various shapes and sizes can be chosen based on how much projection and narrowing you want. A genioplasty is another option. This involves cutting the lower aspect of the jawbone and advancing forward. Plates and screws are used to "set" the new projection or how far out the chin should stick. The results are permanent and look very natural. I would seek consultation with a Facial Plastic Surgeon to learn more. Hope this helps!
