I would need to know more about your situation to provide you with insight on the issue you are experiencing. A cracking sensation could be due to various things, and I would recommend an in-person exam with a board certified rhinoplasty specialist. Answers to the following questions would help provide you with advice:1) Did you recently have a rhinoplasty?2) Did you experience any recent trauma to the nose?Crackling can be due to scar tissue following a previous surgery. It can also be a sign of nasal injury. I hope this information helps, and best of luck to you.
Thank you for the question. Without knowing if you have had surgery, I can't really answer this. If you have had a rhinoplasty with osteotomies, then the cracking sensation is likely the bones healing into place. Pressure in this area should be avoided unless specifically instructed by your surgeon. Take care.
Without an exam it is impossible to say what this "crackling" sensation could be. Best to be seen in person.
I'm not sure how to answer this question. I don't know if you've had surgery or if you've been injured or if you knows simply cracks when you push on it. If you had surgery or a recent injury stop touching your nose and check in with your surgeon. If you have not had surgery and have not been injured some clicking one pressing on some cartilages of the nose is not unusual. I get feeling you've had surgery or some sort of trauma so you need to just go see your doctor. Chase Lay, MD double board certified facial plastic surgeon
