Will Steroids for Inflammation Harm Fat Transfer Results?

I had fat transfer injections into cheeks 8 days ago. Will taking steroids for inflammation this close to transfer harm it? I have noticed the fat going away quickly since I started the anti-iflammatory medicine yesterday. It is Methylpredinisolone tablets @ 4mg (total 21 tabs to be taken over 7 day period).

You may have a good idea. See a board-certified plastic surgeon and possibly with the use of imaging software you can see what you would look like with the fillers prior to doing such a procedure.

This will vary according to different practitioners. However, I would typcially advise patients to wait at least 3 weeks after fat transfer to minimize the potential for disrupting the blood supply to the grafted fat.

Please do not get fat injections on the face.  They are a total waste.  I can understand that at 48 you are not ready for a facelift even though that may well be the best option.
