I got this tattoo by an amateur would it be faster to remove? What would be the prince range per session for this particular tattoo? Also this tattoo is about 2 Weeks when can I begin the removal process? Thank you!
Answer: Re: Removal of Amateur Tattoo Amateur tattoos are much easier to remove compared to more sophisticated and complicated designs, where there is shading and the appearance of three dimensional forms. Many forms of professional tattoos are done with greater quantities of ink which then saturate lower layers of the skin. There are also other variables to consider such as: coloration (dark colors are easiest to remove), location on the body, presence of scarring, layering, size of the tattoo and skin type. The more difficult your tattoo is to remove, the more sessions will be needed. Normally, the price per session ranges from about 100-200 dollars per session. The patient in the video below only needed three treatments with the Spectra laser. It is best to receive treatment from a board certified dermatologist

Answer: Tattoo regrets Thank you for the question and photo. Yes, amateur tattoos are usually more easily removed. The best way to remove a tattoo with minimal chance of scarring is to have Laser tattoo removal. Q switched Nd:YAG lasers, such as the RevLite Laser, are excellent for removing tattoos. The Picosure Laser is also very good.Multiple treatments are usually necessary and depend on several variables: ·Your skin type·Location of tattoo·Amount of ink·Color(s) of ink·Layering of ink·Presence or absence of scar from the tattooSeeing a board certified physician experienced in laser tattoo removal should be able to give you an estimate of the total number of treatments needed.Cost of tattoo removal will depend on the size of the tattoo and the total number treatments needed. To see what is right for you and to get more information, see two or more licensed physicians in your area for a consultation to have all your questions answered and to get the proper estimates.I hope this helps.

Answer: Amateur versus professional tattoo for removal Yes it is faster, in general, to remove a amateur tattoo vs. a professionally done one. I utilize the latest technology in laser tattoo removal from Cynosure, the Picosure which should accomplish the task in four treatments. You may start once your skin recovers from the initial tattoo - approx 6 weeks, which is about the same amount of time between treatments.
