Quarter Size Tattoo Excision Removal Cost?

I have a black tattoo that is about the size of a quarter. How much would it normally cost to get it surgically removed? I got the tattoo done about 3 weeks ago, and it is still scabbing. I plan on waiting until it is fully healed to start getting it removed.

For optimal results, I would suggest laser treatment vs surgically removing the tattoo. The price could range anywhere between $500-$1500 dependent upon your geographical location.
Good news is that black ink responds the best to laser treatment, and typically heals without scarring. You do want to wait until your tattoo is completely healed before you start laser treatments to ensure you get a better response to the laser. Laser treatments are performed generally 6-12 weeks apart, pain sensitivity varying on the area in which your tattoo is located on your body.

Hi TattooRemoval.  We never suggest tattoo removal by excision unless as a last resort because of the scarring it creates.  Your tattoo is small and easy to treat with lasers.  You can get full and permanent removal for probably the same cost or less than an excision and you do not have to worry about getting permanently scarred (choose a practitioner wisely).  Perhaps consider lasers before cutting it out?
