Does radio frequency for the buccal fat work?

I want to reduce the buccal fat pad i heard about radio frequency but it seems everyone with this issue goes for surgery will radio frequency reduce the lower cheek fat and for a better contour like buccal fat reduction?

Radio-frequency is a treatment modality that is used to "melt" fat treated to tighten the soft tissues ( including skin) of the area treated. Bucal fat pads are pockets or fat located deep in the cheeks. Therefore, unless a radio frequency device is introduced directly in the pocket where the buccal fat pads are, it wont work. Therefore, radio-frequency treatments are not meant to be used as a replacement of buccal fat removal. Radio-frequency treatments could help to correct jowls, which are pockets of skin and fat in the lower face associated with aging, but not related at all with buccal fat pads.
