LED teeth whitening session and no change. Should i go for another session again?

There are many different kinds of LED whitening. Unfortunately, many are offered from Beauty Therapists without the correct training or understanding of teeth. If your treatment was done at such centre then that could be a possible reason. Other than this, if it was a dentist, you need to speak to them as possibly their material batch numbers need to be checked as you are correct - it should last much longer. Kind regardsThomas Dey, BDS, MSc

I've been whitening teeth for decades and have used a variety of methods. The most reliable method is wearing custom made bleaching trays at home. Teeth have varying porosities.  My experience with power whitening is that the effect is mostly an illusion of disrupting the surface of the enamel which makes white light reflect off creating the appearance of whiteness, but as the surface rehydrates over a two week period the color returns. At home whitening systems using carbamide peroxide has proven to last for years but takes ten to fourteen sessions on the average.
