Dear RS doctors, I have lip incompetence and will most likely undergo chin & maxillary surgery due to skeletal disharmony. I was wondering, however, if that addresses the following problem (or if there are any other methods that do). As you can see, my lower lip droops significantly when at rest, and my bottom teeth show quite a lot. I'm 28, and am not yet experiencing major droopiness of facial skin. Could you please give me your expert opinion on my case? I really appreciate it. All the best!

You do not exhibit an inordinate show of your bottom teeth at rest. However, your lower lip is quite full.  For some, this is a desirable anatomic feature, but other patients may prefer less prominence of the lower lip. It is possible to perform a wedge excision of the mucosa of the lower lip via a horizontal incision in the wet mucosa.  This procedure can reduce the overall volume and protrusion of the lower lip.  There will be a scar from this procedure, but it will be on the aspect of the lower lip that is inside the mouth.  Absorbable sutures are usually used to close this incision, so they will gradually dissolve, and there is no need for you to undergo the discomfort of having them removed.
