Do Essix Retainers Fix an Overjet?

I got essix retainers after my braces were taken off when I was 13. I rarely wear them, but I was wondering if I start wearing them more often will the essix retainers fix my overjet?

You can eat with aligners. I know, I had a patient, who did, against my advise. The same goes about drinks. All except water. Concern would be sugar content of beverages and food.So if you have to (for social reasons and such), keep them on, but make sure to brush your teeth right away...

It is very important to get into your orthodontic office as soon as possible to get the bracket back onto the tooth. Since there is no longer constant pressure on that tooth, it can delay treatment time depending on how long the bracket has been off. I recommend getting into the office...

Permanent retainers with clear retainers are indeed a very good idea for your case. The fixed retainers will hold the front spaces closed, and the clear retainers will hold the back spaces closed. The Invisalign Vivera retainers would be a great option, since you can get them...
