Every winter I suffer with chronic sinusitis and each year it is getting worse. At the moment I experience 2-3 attacks a day, mostly in the evening and through the night which I am sure is related to the electric heating. The pain is so bad it wakes me up each night. I am currently taking steroids as advised by my GP. I have a very deviated septum which makes breathing and talking almost impossible. Will a Septoplasty help reduce the sinusitis, headaches and feeling of constant pressure?

In short, yes. Septal piercings are performed through the membranous portion of the septum (unless you are having something extreme/unusual being done).
As long as you are going to an experienced piercer, you should be fine and not disrupt the cartilaginous portion of the septum at all.
Septoplasty alone is unlikely to remedy this situation. You definitely need to see a surgeon well-versed in rhinoplasty. Given your history of trauma and breathing issues, I suspect that you may have disrupted some of the cartilaginous attachments in your nose and may require more than just a...
