Hi this is Dr. Khorasani here.Dermal filler to the nose, also known as a liquid rhinoplasty can help with the following:1. Bump on the Bridge: If our patients are unhappy with a bump along the bridge of their nose, Dr. Khorasani can minimize the appearance of the protrusion by carefully injecting dermal fillers in the area around the bump, giving your nose a straighter, smoother bridge. Your nose will appear smaller even though volume is being added, because of its improved profile. 2. Tip of the Nose: A disproportionate nasal tip is another common complaint. Fillers can be used to lift the tip of a nose, change the angle if the tip bends, and/or diminish the appearance of a bulbous tip. 3. Depressions: Conspicuous scarring, indentations, or a low, flat bridge can be resolved by placing fillers in areas that are recessed or undersized. 4. Improve Prior Surgery: If you had surgical rhinoplasty and are not happy with the outcome, Dr. Khorasani may be able to use fillers to re-contour your nose and refine your result. Non-surgical nose reshaping is quite effective, but it cannot achieve all the results that are possible through surgical rhinoplasty. Patients who are looking for dramatic changes or internal correction may find that non-surgical nose reshaping is not able to meet their needs.
Hi there!Dr Peterson here. thanks for posting and I’m so glad you reached out. First off, your photo is beautiful and as an aesthetic dermatologist, I can confidently say you have wonderful, proportionate features. So before we embark on any procedures, let’s work on changing your username. Confidence isn’t something we can get from nonsurgical nose jobs, from lasers or Botox. Confidence comes from within. And at age 18, I can tell you I wasn’t the most confident guy. But then a lot of school, and life experiences, and difficult times helped me find myself and gain way more confidence. I know the same will happen for you :) But I digress! Let’s chat about your question. At 18, your facial features are still developing, and it’s generally best to wait until your face has fully matured before considering any permanent or semi-permanent procedures like a surgical or nonsurgical nose job. Early interventions can sometimes look unnatural later as your bone, cartilage, and soft tissue continue to grow.Nonsurgical nose jobs (using dermal filler) can address minor concerns, such as: • Small bumps or dips in the nasal bridge • Slight asymmetry • Subtle contour adjustmentsHowever, they cannot reduce the size of your nose or correct major structural issues. There are also risks—including bruising, swelling, skin compromise, or rare vascular complications—so it’s essential to see a board-certified physician who specializes in nonsurgical rhinoplasty. For now, the safest approach is to wait and let your features mature. This way, when you are ready, any treatment—surgical or nonsurgical—can achieve more natural, lasting results.
What exactly is wonky? No one can explicitly say whether a non-surgical or surgical nosejob would be good for you without knowing exactly what your concerns are. It would also be helpful to have more angles to assess.
Just on your solitary photo, you appear to have an unobtrusive nasal appearance, with a slightly wide nasal tip appearance. This is associated with thin nasal skin. It's considered re-asking a question with a discussion of what you are looking to achieve, or what is bothering you about your nasal appearance. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Thank you for sharing your question and photo. A non-surgical nose job, also called liquid rhinoplasty, can help improve nasal symmetry and contour by using fillers to camouflage irregularities, smooth out unevenness, or refine the nasal bridge. It can be a good option for mild to moderate concerns, but it won’t change the underlying bone or cartilage structure the way surgery does.Based on what you’ve described, it could offer subtle improvement and balance, but it may not completely address every aspect you are noticing. It’s also temporary, usually lasting several months up to a year, and results vary depending on your anatomy and goals.
