What is best lip procedure for a gummy smile? (photo)

I am currently wearingInvisalign which has helped my gummy smile a lot. However, especially very big smiles of laughs I still have a gummy smile on both sides but particularly one side. I am looking for a procedure that will even my lips as one side on the top is thinner but without making my gummy smile worse. I don’t really want ongoing maintenance of fillers. I’d like my lips to look a bit plumper as well as more even. If it also delays marionette lines that would be good. Thanks

Any people have redundant upper lip mucous membrane with smiling. This can be easily marked and excised with local anesthetic in an office setting. The scar would be inside your mouth and it should result in no bulge with smiling. Great question! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

The upper lip lift allows you to shorten the length of the upper lip. This will expose more of the front teeth. The surgery is performed in the office with either local anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.

You are a great candidate for a lip lift, and likely a corner lip lift. At your age is around the time we see lips start to droop and lengthen. The procedure I do is in the office, takes about 30 minutes, and is very effective. Watch our videos to learn more.
