Would er:yag laser be the best treatment to reduce the scar on my upper eyelid and sub brow skin? (Photos)

I had an upper eyelid and sub brow laceration which was partial thickness 3 weeks ago repaired by an ocuplastic surgeon. The scar right now is bulky and swollen but I’m very distressed about the scar cosmesis and would like to know how laser resurfacing could help, if at all. I read about er:yag being good to blend in the scar. I wonder what the realistic outcome would be after all cosmetic refinements are completed. I’ve already begun silicone gel and occlusive ointments. When can I realistically begin laser treatments?
