Hello, i have had laser hair removal on my beard, I’ve done 7 out of 12 sessions and its patchy, i regret it and have stopped the sessions, i want to regrow beard now after laser, my beard was very thick being brown skin, i had very fast beard growth in 1 day, i would shave and have stubble same day, my dad and brothers have strong beard, my chin area is still full and less hairs on cheeks and neck, i am really stressed, please help

Laser hair removal doesn’t always destroy all hair follicles permanently. Some may have only been weakened, and with time, they can become active again — particularly if you had thick, coarse hair and a strong genetic pattern, which you mentioned.

My recommendations for you include: 
1. Consider using topical minoxidil (with caution and under supervision) to stimulate regrowth.
2. Microneedling or PRP treatments may also help wake up dormant follicles.
3. A consultation with a dermatologist who specializes in hair restoration can provide a more personalized plan and assess the viability of the follicles.

Thank you for your question! Laser hair removal is usually not a permanent solution for hair removal. Even after a series of treatments patients may need 1-2 touch ups a year. If you stop with laser hair treatments over time your hair may start to grow back.
