I had a revision rhinoplasty a couple of years ago. The surgeon added cartilage to my bridge without it being discussed in consultations or before surgery. He added a significant amount of cartilage to my bridge, which he tried to rectify with filler. It is still bumpy and uneven. I was happy with my previous bridge; we only discussed altering the length and shape of my tip. I even got rhinoplasty imaging (bridge was the same). Is this normal practice as it was a shock and challenging recovery.
