I am 34, very slim and of Indian origins. I have recently noticed horizontal lines on my hands . I am getting fraxel treatment on my arms soon and wondered if it would also help with these lines ? I’m not looking to going back to the way they were in my youth. I do use my hands a lot, especially when working out. I’d appreciate any advice . I Am trying to avoid Botox fillers etc. Currently I use vitamin c, moisturise with oil and factor 50. I use a retinol at night.

Hello monicaregister,
Thanks for your question. Age is not as important as the actual condition of your skin. There are a lot of people in their 40's that have accelerated skin aging due to environmental factors and lifestyle and women in their 60's/70's that have skin that is more youthful...
Fraxel is a great treatment for superficial layers of the skin and pigmentation. You can use it in combination with micro needling, but of all the mentioned treatments, Fraxel is the best. Stop using Retinoic Acid 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
Fraxel laser should only be done once your impetigo is healed. Even if it is almost gone and treated, it is best to wait for it to be gone. Be sure to speak with your doctor before you get Fraxel to confirm that it is healed and you are ready for the treatment.
