Hi, ever since I was born I have a growth in my eye. I have been seen by the nhs and have been told it’s a dermolipoma. I want to have this removed due to cometic reasons as it’s visable to me - the nhs won’t do it but I don’t know who specialises in this.

It can be removed by an Oculoplastic surgeon or a facial plastic surgeon. It is important to know if the lacrimal gland is involved or not. Also, if the lipoma can be approached through the skin.
