Lump under right eye bag - What is it? (photo)

Question

When I pull my skin tight I notice a lump protrude. It's painless and feels only slightly firm to touch. I've been to doctors about it and they said they couldn't feel or see it but I can clearly see and feel it. Would like a second opinion on it, any guesses as to what it could be?

I can offer some general information about common lumps that might appear under the eye. Here are a few possibilities:

Milia: These are small, white, cyst-like bumps that occur when keratin gets trapped beneath the skin's surface. They are generally harmless and can be removed by a dermatologist if they cause cosmetic concern.

Chalazion: This is a painless lump that can form when an oil gland in the eyelid becomes blocked. It might become more noticeable when the skin is stretched.

Dermoid Cyst: A benign growth that can develop near the eye, often present from birth but may go unnoticed until later. It's generally firm and may require surgical removal if it grows or causes discomfort.

Xanthelasma: These are yellowish deposits of fat under the skin, often around the eyes. They are generally harmless but can be removed for cosmetic reasons.

Lipoma: A soft, benign tumor made of fat tissue that can appear anywhere on the body, including under the eyes. It's usually soft and movable.

Given the difficulty in detecting it during previous examinations, it might be beneficial to consult with an ophthalmologist or a dermatologist for further evaluation. They may use imaging techniques or a more detailed examination to identify the nature of the lump.
