My ear canal is going downwards instead of straight

Practical378971
Hello. I have already seen the thread which asked about elevation of the ears. i am still trying to understand. I have a CT scan, and it also shows the soft tissue around it,. i can see that me ear canal is going downwards instead of straight, when leaves my ear drum ( i think). In other scans ive seen online, it is almost straight. This puts my ears approximately 1cm lower. When seeing the skull, the ear drum (or bony part of the canal) is right next (below) the start of the zygomatic arch.
