Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. Your injury was created by a ball. That leads to crush damage which is wider than the cut and so you get a less appealing scar.
You may do ok with dermabrasion, IPL, laser. for now. But, it is also likely that a scar revision will help you.
