Hello, I had a breast uplift with implants 6 years ago. I have in the last few months noticed a growing lump which is now protruding out and is extremely visible. The large lump is hard but pops in and out when pushed. There are several lumps around the breast. There is an unusual dimple like crater where my lollipop scar heads vertical beneath my nipple. I have had no falls or injury or trauma. My surgeon has since passed away and the clinic has closed. What steps shall i take next? Ty.
Answer: Breasts Your "lumps" could be the implant, but I would suggest being checked by a plastic surgeon and getting a mammagram and possible ultrasound just to be sure.

Answer: Breast lumps Dear Original574623, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: The first step is to have imaging done to your breasts to make sure there is nothing medically wrong. First and foremost you need to have imaging done of your breast to make sure there is nothing concerning going on with your native breast tissue. This will most commonly involve a mammogram or MRI but can also involve an ultrasound depending on your local imaging modalities. Once you have this information, take those images and reports to your plastic surgeon. They will need to perform a complete physical exam to see what may be going on. Scar formation, fat necrosis, oil cysts etc., are all things that may be happening. First thing first, however, is to rule out the scary things.
