Had surgery and I think I’m botched. What can be done to correct this? My skin feels tethered and stuck on my inner thighs. I’ve tried MLD massages, cupping, compression. Do you think this tethering and waviness of my inner thighs will magically resolve? Perhaps residual swelling? I went to get lipo to be able to wear shorts and now im deformed. Please help me :(

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Thanks for the question. There are a lot of factors at play here, including time from surgery, technique, possible devices used, and swelling. I would not call this a botched job but I would encourage you to return to see your surgeon to discuss your concerns and given him/her the opportunity to assess what can be done.

If needed, fat grafting can be done in those thinned areas to restore your contour. Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Unfortunately, you have some thigh contour deformity from possible over resection of the fat in this region. Some options to improve this would include internal heating with Renuvion and external heating with Morpheus 8 plus or minus touch up liposuction with Vaser ultrasound and lipo shifting or fat grafting.
