7 months post-op rhinoplasty- the front view is extremely asymmetrical. What has happened? Is a revision needed? (Photos)

It isn't until a full year after the procedure that results are truly definitive. Therefore, your nose will still have persistent swelling and may cause the asymmetry you are seeing. Patience is key for now. But if after a full year you are still unhappy with your results, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with a strong rhinoplasty portfolio. Your surgeon will evaluate your nose, determine your eligibility for revision rhinoplasty, recommend the best approach to address your concerns and goals, and help ensure the best possible outcome.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

I know you are 7 months after surgery; however, I would wait a minimum of 12 months before deciding on undergoing a revision rhinoplasty. I would recommend you follow up with your surgeon and discuss candidly with them. Revision rhinoplasty is a challenging undertaking - both physically and emotionally. Hi, thank you for your question. Some deformities seem on the images. You should be patient. Cartilage grafts would be used in your revision surgery. Tipplasty+ bridge refinement etc..(general anaesthesia). Few months later, a revision may planned if you wish. Best Cem Altindag Istanbul
