Hi , I would like to know about all surgical or none surgical alternatives to tear through fillers for hollow eyes? Does LED laser work? Does mesolift work? Does face gym work ? All alternatives are welcome. I would like to keep tear through for fillers when I am 30. I am looking forward to hearing from you too, Best wishes

Thank you for your question. Since you aren’t interested in dermal fillers at this time, RF microneedling is another option to consider for treating the skin around the eyes. This treatment uses radiofrequency energy to increase the body’s natural collagen production and restore the skin’s elasticity for a smooth result that can last years for some patients.

Fillers like Belotero, Volbella, and Restylane Silk are good for improving under the eyes, but keep in mind that a combination approach will give the most improvement. My patients try to get non-surgical treatments to avoid surgery, so we use fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP and stem cells. There’s so much material available online that frequently people assume that what they have is a tear trough. In order to determine if you have a tear trough, you should submit a set of photographs or have a consultation with a plastic surgeon. In my opinion, a true tear trough deformity should be treated with fat grafting, which in my hands produces natural and practically permanent results. There are only 2 real options to treat tear troughs. If you have excess skin or the correct anatomy, they can be treated with either an external or trans-conjunctival Blepharoplasty. I use these for only very specific problems. By far, the best treatment is replacing the lost volume or filling the congenital depression. Unfortunately, the majority of injectors do this wrong. It requires a heavy filler, like Juvederm Voluma, placed below the orbital ligament directly on the bone or muscle. If done this way, it is safe with minimal to no problems and very effective. Be careful who you see.
