Can 2 front porcelain veneers match the rest of my teeth if I get it done?

I have previously got my brace taken off , but my front two teeth have had a little work such as white filling for the coulouring and the shape , but over years it comes off and discolours . For long term I have been advised for veneers . But I want them to match my existing teeth . Can this happen ? Help .

Porcelain veneers for your front two teeth can match the rest of your teeth, however you will be needing an expert dentist and a great ceramic lab. You might be needing custom coloring and shaping from the ceramist, which may be additional charges and work. The good dentist usually prepares and shapes your teeth appropriately , and then sends it to the lab, to be fabricated.

Hi, thanks for sending your question. Its ideal to properly plan the veneers by having a complete smile design done with your new dentist. Once the smile design is completed you'd be able to see the shape of the new veneers and their harmony with the existing nearby teeth. The shade is something that your dentist will work with the laboratory to match to the other teeth. Make sure you examine before and after photos of other patients that your cosmetic dentist has treated for comparison. All the best.

We match veneers to natural teeth all of the time.  If you really like everything about your natural teeth, then have the old bonding removed and have veneers placed to match.  If you want your natural teeth whiter, whiten first and then match your whitened teeth.  Look closely -- if your two front teeth are significantly off color or shape, they are likely the main "distractor" in your smile.  When you fix the main "distractor" and make the two front teeth look beautiful, then other imperfections ("distractors") in other teeth could stand out.  If that's a possibility, create a plan for fixing those things should they bother you in the future.

Veneers are a cosmetic treatment and should look natural and match your teeth.  Every dentist is not the same and some may have a keener eye on tints and have more experience in custom shading and matching dental work to natural teeth.  Word of mouth referrals from happy patients are a great source of information and you may want to seek out 2-3 dentists and get a consult.  The dentist you choose will want to take photographs of your teeth to communicate with their dental lab or maybe better if they have an actual dental tech that will be making your veneers meet with you at their office.  Sometimes a CEREC equipped dentist will be handy as they can make the veneers chairside and offer custom staining all in a single appointment.  There are many avenues to get a great result, your dentist is going to be the key.

Veneers can be made to match the surrounding teeth. How well they match depends upon the ability of the dentist and his technician. Before having veneers made ask to see photographs of veneers made by the dentist for other patients.
