Any spot or lesion or mole that noticeably changes shape, size or color should be examined by a Dermatologist. Be sure to let him or her know that this spot has changed with time. 

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles.
