Any spot or lesion or mole that noticeably changes shape, size or color should be examined by a Dermatologist. Be sure to let him or her know that this spot has changed with time. 

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Thank you for your question!I recommend getting an in-person formal evaluation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist. Moles can be removed with a laser, radiowave or shave. Thank you for your question and photograph. It's difficult to evaluate your skin through this type of forum. An in-person evaluation needs to be done where a dermatologist can examine the lesion utilizing a dermatoscope, which allows the physician to examine the mole under high magnification for any abnormal features. If any are found, then a biopsy should be done.
