Because of lack of vertical bone height, i need a custom 3D printed subperioasteal dental implant for mandible rehabilitation. I noticed that unlike "normal" dental implants, these are made of grade 5 titanium. I am very concerned about the aluminium and vanadium ions from this material. Is there any possiblity to get a subperioasteal dental implant that is made from pure titanium only?

Your dentist is correct.....a veneer cannot be placed over an implant crown. Your option to change the shade of the crown would be to have it changed to a different/favorable shade.
