I feel embarrassed by fat on the pubic area which might be (or might not be) partly due to a bit of a droopy tummy after pregnancy. I realise a tummy tuck might help but I doubt it would fix all of the problem. I guess liposuction might also be a help. Any advice please? Thanks )The question is not about tummy tuck per se but that category is the most like my question etc)
Answer: Camel Toe Reduction
Camel toe is usually caused by a short inseam to pants but can also be from enlarged labia majora (outer lips) or labia minora( inner lips). Surgical reduction of each of the labia is possible to eliminate or at least reduce the came toe appearance. These surgeries may be done under light general or local with minimal scarring and little downtime.

Answer: This is an Embarrassing Topic BUT ....Is There a Way of Eliminating a 'Camel Toe'?
Liposuction in conjunction with a tummy tuck will remedy the abdomen and the pubic area at the same time. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of tummy tucks each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA

Answer: Is There a Way of Eliminating a 'Camel Toe'; Treatment of the Pubic Area?
Thank you for the question. The pubic area may be an area of concern for many women. This area may be large ( prominent) , ptotic (low), or deflated. Therefore, the best method to and prove the appearance of the area will depend on physical examination and the patient specific goals.
For example, the pubic area may then be “lifted” and/or defatted ( either directly or with liposuction) as the specific patient's needs indicate. Care is taken to avoid over thinning the area since some coverage of the pubic area is important (for example for padding during intercourse).
I hope this helps.

Answer: Is There a Way of Eliminating a 'Camel Toe'?
It is hard to say exactly what you need without a picture. Usually I do Smart Lipo to the mons pubis. This removes the excess fat and allows for some skin retraction. Sometimes, some skin removal is required either by removing some skin above the mons (mini TT), or doing a labia majora rduction, depending on where the problem is.

Answer: Mons Pubis
This can be treated in several ways depending on the degree of skin excess ( if any). Liposuction alone may be effective. Frequently skin excision ( with resulting scarring) is necessary. I have even performed this procedure with lipo first but still had to excise some labia majora. This is very different than a labioplasty ( labia minora) in that the scars are external and with today's grooming habits ( hair removal- waxing/ laser, etc) The scars may be more noticeable.
