My upper teeth don't show when smiling and talking. Would veneers help? (photos)

You would be a candidate for porcelain veneers.  You could also consider doing Invisalign to straighten them and then see if you show more tooth structure.  Either way will work.  Good luck.

I would definitely recommend veneers for your case.  They would improve your smile immensely.  It's unlikely that surgery will help your teeth show more when you talk. I hope this helps.

as your smile is flat and not following lower lip, one of the reason is flared teeth. so best option in yr case is make yr smile consonant [follow lower lip] by braces / invisalign treatment and later smile improvement by porcelain veneers.

I would do clear aligner therapy first followed by Kor whitening.  I am sure you would be happy with this treatment.  Veneers would remain an option later if you wanted more cosmetic benefit.
