Is there a way to speed up dissolving the Silhouette soft threads?

Dear Doctors I had silhouette soft one month ago, my face had a reaction to it and is extremely swollen till today. My Only solution is to have cortisone shots every other day for it to subside. My question is there a way that I can speed up the threads dissolving process ? And is there a safer medication to take to help with the extrem sweeping that is safer than cortison and can be taken long term till this swelling fades. Urgent help requested

Do you have a picture? It's very unlikely to have a reaction to Silhouette and you might consider that there is something else going on that is giving you the reaction. I would go back to the doctor who performed the procedure and ask again. Consider infection as a differential diagnosis; maybe a trial of antibiotics would help. Make sure that you see somebody qualified in this type of thing fairly soon. Cortisone is not necessarily the solution.

Very hard to treat once in. Cortisone can reduce inflammation but fat atrophy is a danger. Please see a Specialist. Not an easy condition to manage without surgery. All the best, Dr Davin S. Lim.
