5 days ago I had lower molar 19 extracted due to a cementoblastoma on the root that had been getting larger over the years. Bone grafting was done at the time of extraction. No other infection was noted, but the tooth is being examined and I'm waiting on the results. Stitches were to dissolve within a couple weeks. Day 3 one came out. Day 4 another, and today the remaining 2 plus remaining packing came out, leaving a big hole. The smell/taste has been terrible. I've been rinsing with salt water.

It's not that the bone graft can cause the teeth to move, but the missing tooth can cause shifting of the adjacent teeth as well as movement of the opposing tooth into the new space.
