Is it normal to have fluid build up in my abs after Vaser Liposcution?

I am 5 months post vaser lipo and It feels like I have fluid in my abs.  Unlike most of your experiences I have read about (all very helpful) my post op consisted of a 7 day follow up in which they took Picts.  My next follow up was at 15 weeks, more Picts taken.  5 months and I've had 2 dr apps.  I have read that most of you had massage therapy.  My dr. Never mentioned therapy.  I'm wondering if I'm feeling fluid because I had no post op treatment.  Any thoughts?????

Good Morning,
At our office we recommend patients to go for lymphatic draining massages at around twelve weeks post op. The patient generally does around ten sessions (one per week). 
It is still possible to have fluid retention at five months due to the fact that a large volume of fluid is used during the procedure in order to numb the area, and use the ultrasound component.
