I had used minoxidil 5 %. I experienced hair growth, but I had to stop because of facial growth under my eyes on my forehead and my beard got much more thicker. Now, after three months hair under my eyes and my forehead fall out, but my beard is still much more thicker than it was before using minoxidil. Are there any chances that my beard will be like it was before using. I don't care for time I'm prepared to wait two years but I need to know that things are going to be like they were.

Answer: If you do NOT like your thick beard and believe it was due to minoxidil you should see a doctor for an exam.

The percentage is just the concentration of minoxidil. 2% and 5% are the only two FDA approved. The higher the concentration above 5% does not mean you will get that much better results.
Minoxidil belongs to a group of medications known as hair regrowth treatments. It is a topical treatment that is applied directly to the scalp and is used to treat male pattern baldness. It seems to work best in certain circumstances: when hair loss has been present for less than five years,...
You had two biopsies on the scalp and hopefully there will be no permanent hair loss but it is possible that you may have some minimal hair loss. Speak with your doctor
