Botox to the masseter will not cause all the things that you are complaining about.  It is likely something you are now noticing in your face. Weight fluctuations can impact this as well.

Thank you for your question.  I am very sorry to hear about your experience.  Please allow for approximately 12-16 weeks for the Botox to wear off in your cheeks.  In the meantime, warm compresses, massage and facial exercises may help you to regain muscle activity more quickly.  I would advise you to see an experienced injector for an in-person reevaluation in order to fully address your concerns and to determine the best course of action.  Best wishes!

Botox on label lasts 3 months and all the botox effect should be gone at that time, or shortly thereafter.  I think that when you state that you had a touch-up 3 months later, you were retreated!  Wait until August, at which time, all the botox effect should be gone.
