Answer: There is no non-surgical way to tighten the skin. I've tried ultrasonic as well as laser assisted skin tightening technology. It doesn't work. Don't waste your money.

Answer: Liposuction and Skin Tightening It is really not the technique that gives the best results, it is the person performing the procedure. In my hands, SmartLipo does help tighten the skin and it has been reported that BodyTite does as well. My suggestion is if you have loose skin to go to someone who knows how to approch this. you may not be a candidate for just liposuction and may need surgery or liposuction plus a noninvasive treatment such as Thermage, Velashape or Ultherapy to help tighten after surgery. All my patients get this option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: BodyTite Thank you for your question. Yes, BodyTite would tighten the skin and remove fat. It is a minimally-invasive body contouring procedure that utilizes radio-frequency assisted lipolysis. It combines two successful technologies into a double-duty procedure that reduces fat while simultaneously tightening the skin. Traditional liposuction removes excess fat and then relies on the skin to contract smoothly over the area on its own. BodyTite reduces fat without leaving behind wrinkly or saggy skin thru the use of radio-frequency. However please make sure you get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.

Answer: BodyTite, Liposuction, and skin tightening Thanks for your question concerning BodyTite RFAL, liposuction, and skin tightening. Realize that treatment of any aesthetic area should treat multiple layers; skin, underlying supporting fascia, and fat. All of these layers must be addressed to attain the result you want and have invested in. Below the fatty layer are the muscular layers you get to work on with Pilates, Spin, etc. There is a learning curve to any new technology. BodyTite RFAL, and liposuction are just tools available to your surgeon. However, I have found BodyTite and FaceTite to provide the best skin and soft tissue tightening. I love to take post-operative photos of my BodyTite, and FaceTite patients. I and my patients see improvement even 9 months out compared to 6 months.
